Benicio is a new Men's Apparel brand for modern India. We guided the brand right from Brand Strategy, coining the right name, defining their story & messaging. Our association started by delving deep into the brand’s offering, and understanding its relevance to the new-age consumer. This was done through rigorous discussions, probing and questioning.
The Brand Story was pinned around inspiring confidence. Subsequently, we designed & managed our proprietary Naming Workshop - Let’s Go Fishing Module, with which we generated over 700 possible Brand Names.
Benicio was chosen as the final name, meaning a confident, genuine man. The name is fundamental to the Brand Story and first step of differentiation. In a category where brands are fighting for same mindshare with similar positioning, it was very important for us to make the Brand Name stand out. The Brand Name shifts focus from homogenous experience to the emotional space.
We crafted the Visual Identity based on the Brand Personality. A simple, effective, yet incredibly detailed "B” symbol underlines the styling and personality of the brand.
Building on the Brand Identity System, we helped Benicio maintain its distinctive presence across varied touch points. The Visual Identity helps distil its Brand Core to far-reaching consumer experiences. It is iconic and universal. It’s bold enough to make a statement, but flexible enough to appear on any material or surface.
